Switching to GenTech from TCE in your vapor degreasing system is seamless. The conversion to GenTech requires no equipment modifications, except minor adjustments to the temperature settings. GenTech boils at a lower temperature than TCE (160°F versus 188°F); therefore, less time, and energy, is required to boil the solvent.

Easy to Dispose

Another advantage of switching from TCE to GenTech is waste disposal. GenTech is not a hazardous material, and as long as hazardous materials are not introduced into the waste stream, the generated waste can be disposed of as non-hazardous.
